Learner Details
Learner details are used to:
- Determine which state in Australia you reside. If not set, then this is automatically determined based on location of first trip logged. The state determines the minimum required hours and other licence details (age, minimum period etc).
- Determine when you can go for your probationary licence.
- Determine, based on trips to date, when you should have completed the minimum required hours.
Viewing Learner Details
Within any of the Log, Summary or Trips screens, touch the leaner details:
This will display the list of available learners.
Touching the 
button will display the learner’s details.
Touching the “Edit” button will allow the learner details to be edited.
Edit Learner Details
Change Learner Picture
Pressing the 
button, or existing image if it has been previously set, will allow you to choose an existing photo, or take a new photo.
After choosing an existing photo, you will need to select a square region of the photo to use within the Learners Log application. You can pinch to zoom in on a region and move it around to get the desired region.
When you are happy, touch “Choose” and the learner image will be set.
Change Learner Values
Touch the “Learner Nickname”, “Full Name” or “Permit Number” fields to add or change the value.
Change Learner Dates
Touching the button alongside the “Date of Birth” and “Permit Issued” fields displays a screen allowing the correct date to be selected.
Change State Authority
Touching the button alongside the “Authority” field displays a screen allowing the selection of the appropriate state.
Save Changes
When you have finished entering the learner details, touch “Done”.
The updated time of the learner details will be updated.
Touching “Learners” will show the list of available learners with the updated details.
Touching “Log”, “Summary” or “Trips” will return you to he main screen from which you viewed the list of learners.
Learner Details Updated
The updated learner details will now be displayed within the application.
